Course Description:
A review of polynomials, exponents, and radicals; solutions to
equations and inequalities in one and two variables. Topics covered include exponential, logarithmic, and quadratic functions; roots of polynomials; graphs of various functions and conic sections;
solutions of systems of linear equations .
Prerequisites: Grade
of "C" or better in MAT120 or satisfactory score on District placement exam.

be calculated as follows:
1. Written exams will represent 60% of the
final course grade
2. Final exam will represent 20 % of the final course grade.
3. The EAC Post Test will be embedded
in the final exam
and will represent
at least 10% of the
final grade.
4. Quizzes will be 10% of the final grade.
5. Homework will be 10% of the final grade.
